1. About Planvoy

Planvoy is an independent trip-planning app designed to help groups coordinate travel together — including flights, hotels, dining, activities, and itineraries. Planvoy is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any airline, hotel chain, or travel company.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use Planvoy. By using the app, you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when registering
• Keep your password secure and not share it with others
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Planvoy to:

• Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing
• Upload photos that contain nudity, sexually explicit material, graphic violence, or content inappropriate for a general audience
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
• Scrape, reverse engineer, or otherwise extract data from the app or its API
• Use the app for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent

5. Trip Content & User Data

You retain ownership of the content you create in the app (trip details, photos, journal entries, messages, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to store and display it to members of your trip as part of providing the service.

You are solely responsible for the content you share. Do not include sensitive personal or financial information beyond what the app's features require.

6. Calypso AI Assistant

Planvoy includes Calypso, an AI travel assistant powered by Anthropic's Claude API. When you use Calypso:

• Your conversation messages and trip details are transmitted to Anthropic's servers to generate responses.
• AI-generated itinerary suggestions are provided for informational purposes. Planvoy does not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or suitability of any specific places, restaurants, or activities suggested by Calypso.
• You are responsible for verifying all bookings, operating hours, reservations, and other logistics independently before your trip.
• Locking in an AI-suggested itinerary adds items to your trip for planning purposes only — it does not create actual reservations.

7. Premium Subscriptions

Certain features — including Budget Tracking — require a premium subscription. Most app features are free. Planvoy offers non-renewing subscription options:

• These are non-renewing subscriptions and will not automatically charge you again when the period ends.

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's Media Services Terms. All sales are final. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy. We do not offer refunds directly.

8. Notifications

Planvoy may send push notifications to remind you of reservation windows, trip events, flight status changes, and other trip activity. You can manage notification preferences in the app's Settings screen or through your device's notification settings at any time.

9. Third-Party Services

Planvoy integrates with third-party services to provide certain features. Use of these services is subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, or accuracy:

• FlightAware — flight status tracking for flights added to a trip
• Anthropic (Claude) — AI-powered travel assistant (Calypso)

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Planvoy is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated itinerary suggestions, flight status information, or any data provided by third-party services. Always verify time-sensitive travel information directly with the relevant service provider.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Planvoy and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to missed reservations, lost data, or service interruptions.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the updated terms, you should stop using the app.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of Planvoy shall be resolved in the applicable courts of the United States.
